We have been trying to get Syd to walk for some time now. She has 4 crutches....Her Mommy, Daddy, Big Sis, and Big Bro. I think we cater to her too much. Finally on Tuesday night Billy and I played with her and tried to get her walking. She has been standing on her own forever now. She finally took 7 steps. It was so exciting. Garrett video taped it but was so excited to see her the only thing he got was me screaming and the carpet. This little one is such a pickle. She DOES NOT SLEEP!!! Billy and I have been sooo exhausted and taking turns being the one to sleep. I don't understand. Sleep is so wonderful!! This weekend we are taking away her morning nap and only letting her take one in the afternoon. Cross your fingers!
Garrett had baseball practice Sunday night, Basketball practice Monday and Thursday and an indoor soccer game on Tuesday (He was goalie for the first time. It was hillarious. He actually did a great job)! Tired but still staying on his school work!!
Savannah has a bit rougher schedule. She has late practice Monday and Wednesday and an indoor soccer game on Wednesday's before her basketball practice. She is exhausted by Thursday. Luckily Billy takes Garrett to practice on Thursday nights so us girls get a little break.

Savannah's basketball game
Well this girl is definately impressive!! Savannah's team finally won a game 28-24. The exciting part to that score is that Savannah made 11 baskets to score 22 of the 28 points!!! Insane. This is one skill she definately got from her Daddy. I was no basketball player!! She is such a competitor it is so much fun to watch her.

Garrett's basketball game
What an exciting game!! Garrett's team was down the whole game until the last 30 seconds. Garrett made a basket to tie the game up. The last 2 seconds one of his teammates was fouled and missed the first free throw. It was down to the wire and he made the second one to win the game by one point!! Garrett ended up with 2 baskets. He was a defensive animal!!

Sydney loves these pups so much. Part of Garrett and Savannah's chores is to run the dogs 3 times a week. Yes on top of two basketball practices and one indoor soccer game a week, they still have the energy to go on runs. Garrett ran 2 miles in 16 minutes 16 seconds right before basketball practice last week. ANIMALS!!! They have started to get me back into shape with them and take me on their 2 mile jogs. Believe me I am no where near 8 minute miles!!! Syd has been trying to get in on the action. I love this picture of her hanging onto both leashes!!

Wow what a long month and a half!!
Merry Christmas, Happy New year and welcome back to school!!! We have been crazy busy as usual. I posted a bunch of pictures below to update you on our lives the last month. Today Sydney is 11 months old. She has 4 teeth now and eating mostly what we eat. I stopped nursing her on New Year's Eve. Sad day but more than ready. It is hard to believe that she is almost a year. Garrett and Savannah are busy as usual. Playing basketball and indoor soccer. They were dying over break when they were trapped inside with the freezing cold temperatures. They are happy to be back to school with their friends and great teachers. I am happy to be back but loved having the time off with my family. My classes are great so far. I am excited for this semester, but how long until summer? I am in my second master's class now and Billy just started a new one as well. AAHH what are we doing? It will all be worth it in the end right? Anyway, enjoy the updates. I will try to be better at keeping you up to date. (LISA and ELAINE :) )!!!!!

Christmas
Christmas morning was great. Garrett was drafted to the Broncos, Savannah studied up on her fly tying (how do you spell that?!?!) and Syd LOVES Santa. Everytime she saw a Santa she kissed him like crazy.
What a wonderful Christmas! Beside the fact that my family was all sick, we enjoyed seeing family and friends. Sydney had a great time and started to get the concept of ripping the paper. We are very fortunate to have so many wonderful people in our lives!! The big group picture is Billy up top, Sean, My Mom, Her boyfriend Gary, Haley, Me Kevin, Aiden, Vanessa, Savannah, Sydney, Garrett, and Adrianna. 
Trip to Texas
Our visit to Texas was fun. We saw the Conway's and Palmer, Jinni, Trisha and Olivia. The kids had a great time fishing in Nana and Pop's pond and got spoiled with lots of great gifts. Thanks for everything!
Spelling Bee
Garrett and his buddy Yuta were in the spelling Bee at their school. There were 30+ students 4th through 6th. Garrett got 10th and Yuta won it. He would come up to my car after school quizzing me on words and I finally told him if he won the thing I'd give him $20.00. Maybe I should have told Garrett that!! Yuta was the 2nd fourth grader in school history to win it and the first one won 15 years ago. Go Yuta!!
Finding our tree
After spending 31/2 hours in the car....one way (we won't get into that) we found the perfect tree. or should I say the perfect Charlie Brown tree!!! HAHAHA We loved it. It wouldn't even hold an angel!!
