Savannah and Billy
I think that it is great that Daddy's get a chance to show their daughters how they should be treated on a date. I also love that they get this opportunity to spend an awesome night together where it is all about them. The picture of them walking to the car brings tears to my eyes. So sweet! We are blessed to have a Daddy that loves his children as much as Billy does!!
My date
Garrett and I had our date. We started with some serious jamming in the car to loud music we don't normally get to listen to because of Sydney. We made our way to the Boondocks where we played basketball, air hockey, laser tag, motercycle racing games, and car racing games. We had fun. We then came home to eat Chinese food and watch some bob sleding. I love spending individual time with my kiddos!

Indoor fun!!
Syd walking
Here is a Sydney walking. She will sometimes walk on her own but perfers to crawl most of the time. If she takes a lot of steps, she chickens out to go any more.

Last couple of weeks
Not a whole lot has happened the last few weeks. Busy as usual. Syd was not feeling well last Friday and progressivly got worse throughout the weekend so I ended up taking her into the doctor last Monday and sure enough she got her first ear infection. We were 10 days out of making it a whole year without having to take her to the doctor for being sick. She is on antibiotics (which I am totally against but won't get into right now) and the first few days had THE WORST diaper rash. Bleeding and everything! Poor thing. She is better now and sleeping great (I hope I didn't just jinx myself by saying that out loud). She was taking a ton of steps before she got sick and since she has been sick, she hasn't had anything to do with walking. It has been a week and a half but she is just now getting back into the walking thing. I wouldn't call her a walker yet, but she is awefully close!! She is so proud of herself when she does it!! She squeals and has the biggest grin!! When I picked her up from daycare 2 weeks ago, she took like 17 steps to greet me at the door.. Yeah I cried!! It is hard not being the one home with her to do these things with her. I love Mona though. She is great with Syd.
Garrett and Savannah have been busy as usual. It has taken a little toll on them these past few weeks as well. I let them both miss practice (which is something we NEVER do). They needed to recoup though. We have been going to bed between 7 and 7:30 all this past week. How nice!! Basketball and indoor soccer is almost finished and we are going into outdoor soccer, baseball and VOLLEYBALL!!! San is finally old enough to play and I get to coach her!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!! She has been asking me for years and there hasn't been anything available until this year. I am going to help coach track (1 or 2 practices a week) but since I have "retired" with volleyball, I can coach my own child. I am thrilled!! Anyway, enjoy the pictures and we will be having another update very soon........SYD TURNS 1 IN 4 DAYS!!!! OMG!!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY!!
Last night Billy and I had our first date with no kids since Sydney has been born!! Our "manny" next door came over and watched all of our kids plus had his twin boys with (they are 15). He is awesome!! Thanks Jim! Billy planned the whole thing. We went to Golden for a murder mystery dinner. It was so much fun! When we got home we actually were able to watch a whole movie with no interruptions. Couples Retreat. Good flick! This morning we woke up and had some major cuddles in bed with all the kids. Then we came down for little gifts and Valentine's Day pancakes..... Chocolate chip of course with chocolate writing (Everyone had chocolate chips except Syd. Her day is coming)!! After that, we cleaned, Billy cooked a whole weeks worth of meals (He is awesome!!) and then we went to play some basketball at the rec center. There were two little 6th grade boys there and they were a little too impressed with Savannah. They even asked me what her name was, how old she was and what school she went to. I told them I was her mother and they giggled and kept playing. I AM NOT READY FOR THIS!!! Anyway, we played knock out with these two little boys, Bug, Nan, Billy and I for an hour. The person out first was on Syd duty! After the rec center, we came home, all showered, I put Syd down and the rest of us ate chocolate fondue. Yummy!! Now we are off to the couch to cuddle some more and watch the movie Clue. Garrett and Savannah are all into this Murder Mystery thing so we thought they would enjoy this movie. I am so blessed with this awesome family! What a great day. Love you guys!!
